Located between the Showboat Hotel and Ocean Casino Resort, Fusion Gym aims to provide a fresh approach to staying active while enjoying everything the shore has to offer.

Fusion Gym is more than just a traditional gym. It’s a rapidly expanding fitness chain based in the Philadelphia area, known for its innovative approach to health and wellness.

With multiple locations across Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, Warminster, and Fairless Hills, Fusion Gym offers a comprehensive fitness experience that combines traditional gym facilities with modern amenities in a luxury setting. Some compare it to the outdoor gyms in places like Miami, but with an added level of luxury.

Each location is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including over 20 squat racks and benches, giving members a wide range of options to reach their fitness goals.

The new Atlantic City location spans 150,000 square feet and is designed to offer a comprehensive fitness experience beyond traditional gym settings. The facility features:

  • Outdoor Workout Zones: Freestanding machines, weights, and artificial turf areas let members exercise while enjoying ocean views.
  • Sports Courts: Basketball and pickleball courts cater to both casual players and competitive athletes.
  • Wellness Amenities: A cedar sauna housed within a shipping container provides a unique post-workout relaxation option.
  • Social Spaces: Multiple bars, a beer garden, DJ booths, VIP seating areas, and an outdoor kitchen foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

Weight stations and outdoor courts make it easy for visitors to mix traditional workouts with recreational sports. Lounge areas shaded by palm trees give members a place to relax between sets, creating a resort-like atmosphere on the Boardwalk.

The introduction of Fusion Gym aligns with Atlantic City’s broader efforts to diversify its attractions and appeal to a wider audience. Owner Bart Blatstein, who acquired the Showboat Hotel in 2016, has been instrumental in transforming the property into a family-friendly destination.

The addition of Fusion Gym complements existing attractions such as the Island Waterpark and the Lucky Snake Arcade, further solidifying the Showboat’s position as a premier entertainment hub on the Boardwalk.

This location will be a bit different, though, as it will be strictly outdoors. Come winter, it will close, after all, no one wants to work out while snow hits the beach.

Fusion Gym aims to make its facilities accessible to a broad demographic. Memberships are priced at $99 per month, with discounted rates available for first responders and students under 26.

The facility is expected to open soon.
