New Shore Ave Coffee Co. Opens on the Wildwood Boardwalk
For those who woke up early over Memorial Day Weekend to grab a fresh box of Fractured Prune donuts at 20th and the boardwalk, on the North Wildwood Boardwalk may have been surprised to see something brand new sitting right next door. And honestly, it pairs perfectly with those donuts.
Officially opening its doors is Shore Ave Coffee Co. a brand-new coffee shop that is already becoming one of the busiest new spots on the boardwalk.

What makes this story even cooler is that this isn’t some giant outside company moving into town. Shore Ave Coffee Co. is owned and operated by the kids of the owners behind Fractured Prune, making this a true family-run local business.
And if the name Shore Ave Coffee Co. sounds familiar, there’s a good reason for that.
Last summer, many visitors who stopped into Fractured Prune probably remember seeing Shore Avenue’s coffee blends quietly introduced inside the donut shop. At the time, it felt like a small side project that paired perfectly with the donuts. Fast forward to this summer, and they’ve now turned that concept into a full-scale coffee experience sitting right on the boardwalk.
But calling this place “just a coffee shop” honestly doesn’t do it justice.

Sure, they have the traditional espresso drinks and iced coffees people expect, but the menu goes far beyond that.
We’re talking frozen frappes, matcha drinks, protein coffees, sparkling sodas, house-made energy drinks, ‘sea foam’ drinks, and even signature creations themed around the Jersey Shore itself.
One thing that immediately stands out when walking inside is just how modern and clean everything feels. The bright blue walls, beach-inspired decor, mounted beach cruiser bicycle, custom merchandise, and giant digital menu boards make the place feel more like something you’d expect to see in a trendy coastal city than on a traditional boardwalk.
Even the drink names lean heavily into the Wildwood and shore theme.
Their sparkling soda lineup includes drinks like “Doo Wop,” “Five Mile Breeze,” “Pink Mermaid,” and “Shore Crush.” Their energy drinks include names like “Wild Shore Rush,” “Bayside Blush,” and “Salt Water Taffy.”
They also offer protein coffees designed for post-beach recovery, which honestly feels like a smart idea considering how many people walk the boards all day during summer.
And from everyone I spoke with while visiting, the reaction has been very positive.
I only went twice over Memorial Day Weekend and already found my personal favorite, the Banana Breeze Brew. The drink combines banana hazelnut flavors with banana sea foam and what I believe is their graham cracker topping called “shore sand.” It was amazing.
The coffee shop also sells its own branded whole bean coffee blends, including names like “Boardwalk Brew,” “Golden Hour,” “Exit 7 Espresso,” and “Wildwood Tide.” On top of that, they already have a growing merchandise section featuring hats, tumblers, mugs, tote bags, and apparel branded with the Shore Avenue logo. Some of their stuff was really nice.
And judging by the lines throughout Memorial Day Weekend, people are clearly buying into the concept.
What Shore Avenue Coffee Company really represents is another example of how the Wildwoods Boardwalk continues evolving. While the boardwalk still has its classic staples and old-school charm, newer businesses like this are bringing in a modern coastal aesthetic that younger visitors and social media audiences seem to love.
Honestly, this place feels like it could become one of those “must-stop” summer locations people talk about every year.
And yes, if you’re wondering, grabbing hot Fractured Prune donuts and walking next door for one of these drinks may be one of the most dangerous combo meals on the entire boardwalk this summer.
