Barn Candle Co Is Coming To Cape May Court House

Those who drive down Indian Trail, past the Home Depot, on your way to North Wildwood, may have noticed some construction taking place at the corner of Shore Road and North Wildwood Boulevard.

Back in 2020, the South-Eastern corner used to be a massive forest totaling five acres in size. During the pandemic plans were submitted for a new plaza to grace this space called “The Grapevine Shopping Plaza.”

The big yellow sign out front never mentioned which business would be coming rather than that it would be a great location for gyms, pizza shops, retail, and more.

The press release boasted that the location had great visibility and traffic counts, but a year after its start there were no signs of life until now.

Driving by The Grapevine Shopping Plaza on Thursday, there was a large box truck outside unloading store shelves, refrigerators, and unmarked boxes. The next day we finally got our answer on what will be there.

Please welcome Beach Barn Candle Co to Cape May Court House.

While the windows are still covered in brown paper, a quick google search took us to their website beachbarnco.com

They describe their shop as “a small candle, soap, and home decor business that uses all-natural ingredients and eco-friendly items for all of the products they have to offer.”

This place will be selling more than candles but rather themed Home goods. With fall on its way, their website shows everything from ghost doormats to bath bombs, fall shirts, coffee cups, and more.

Some of the candles on their site include Spiced pumpkin, Apples & Maple Bourbon, Witches Spell, and Cuddle Weather.

While there isn’t a date on when they will open, folks can purchase some of their products right from their website.

We wish the owners of  Beach Barn Candle Co the best of luck. Be sure to give their Instagram a like!
