Bucket Brigade Brewery Closes, Obscura Brewing Co. to Take Over
After seven years of serving the local craft beer community, Bucket Brigade Brewery has announced it will be closing its doors for good on January 26th.
Located at 205 North Main Street in Cape May Court House, Bucket Brigade Brewery had became a local favorite.

The decision marks the end of an era, filled with cherished memories, loyal customers, and an incredible journey. In a heartfelt message, the brewery expressed deep gratitude for the support it has received over the years.
The owners reflect on how the community helped make Bucket Brigade a beloved part of the local scene, and while it’s time to say goodbye, they look back on the past with immense appreciation.

Taking over as head brewer, Karlson brought fresh energy, new ideas, and innovative brewing techniques to the table. In just a year and a half, his leadership earned the brewery 15 awards, taking it to bold new places.
The brewery’s focus on creativity and innovation was evident, with Karlson pushing the boundaries of craft beer. But with this success came challenges.

However, this isn’t the end for Karlson. In a thrilling new development, he will be taking over the Bucket Brigade Brewery building and launching a brand-new venture: Obscura Brewing Co.

Obscura Brewing Co. will open its doors on March 6th with a soft opening that coincides with the AC Beer Fest ticket event.
This exciting new venture will carry on the legacy of Bucket Brigade Brewery but will introduce new flavors, fresh ideas, and a welcoming atmosphere for beer lovers to enjoy.
