Cape May Zoo Animals Playing With Christmas Trees

Cape May Zoo Animals Playing With Christmas Trees

Here’s your daily dose of cuteness.

A few days ago we uploaded an article about the Cape May Zoo asking for people to bring their old Christmas tree to the zoo for the animals to play with them.

There are certain requirements for these trees. Trees without tinsel, ornaments, hooks, fake snow, etc. are the kind you can drop off at the Zoo.

They will be accepting Christmas tree drop-offs until around January 10th.  Trees can be dropped off daily, 7am – dusk, in the Office parking lot. That is located at the first right when you enter the park.

These trees make great enrichment for the animals at the zoo. Animals like the bison and lions love the smell and push them or carry them around their yards.

Just yesterday the Cape May Zoo uploaded photos of all their animals playing with the trees and to be honest they are so behind adorable.
