We have some sad news coming out of Cape May to ring in the new year.

Stewarts Root Beer of Cape May located on the Washington Mall, announced online that they are closing “indefinitely.”

The post goes on to say, “We will be closing our doors today at 4pm indefinitely come get your last root beer float! It was a good run Stewarts”

Stewarts Root Beer of Cape May opening on May of 2012 and became a fixture on the walk.

The building they were in was one of the oldest standing bank buildings in Cape May County. Along with their soda bar and some cool decor, they were able to make this bank look like an old soda Fountains from the 1940s.

We will be sad to see them leave!
