As you know, one amazing perk of living down here is that our skies are littered with so many stars.
This has to due with the fact that we are located far enough away from light population such as New York City and Philadelphia.
Tonight we all will be in for a great treat as we will have front row of the “Christmas Star.”
For those who don’t know, Saturn and Jupiter will be so ‘close’ that they will look like one giant star. Scientists call it the “Great Conjunction” but because it’s so close to Christmas they are also calling it the “Christmas Star” (Like in the Christmas classic tales).
Now this conjunction has not graced the planet in nearly 800 years making this an event you don’t want to miss out on.
Here’s how you can see it.
Head to the Wildwood Crest Beaches around 5 p.m. If you can’t make it by 5, don’t worry, you will have a few hours until they set around 7 p.m.
Let us know what you think! Also if you snap any photos share them with us!
