Crest To Build Updated Beach Access Points At Select Streets

The Borough of Wildwood Crest has contracted with Fred M. Schiavone Construction of Franklinville to construct public access improvements and amenities at the beach street ends on St. Louis Avenue, Charlestown Avenue, Topeka Avenue, Hollywood Avenue, and Syracuse Avenue.

The work includes a timber platform with ADA access, foot-washing stations, bike racks, benches, and other improvements. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 20th and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, December 1st.

We are requesting that you refrain from parking on the street ends when the work is occurring on your block assuming you live on the beach block. the construction will be conducted on the street end and access to the properties will remain. beach access is available at Trenton Avenue, Pittsburgh Avenue, and Preston Avenue during construction.
