There is some really cool news coming out of Wildwood today.
Doo Wop Museum Is Getting A New Neon Sign!
People travel from all around the world to come to the Wildwoods to not only view the World’s largest collection of mid-20th century resort architecture but also the neon that hangs outside of these motels.
We just learned today that a new neon will be debuting this summer at the Doo Wop Experience.
Our friends at ABS Sign Co, who has been making all the iconic neon signs you love to see, posted a video online showcasing the sign in a tour. [You can watch that video at the bottom of this article]
Located directly across from the Wildwoods Convention Center on Ocean Avenue between Burk and Montgomery Avenues, the Doo Wop Experience is a MUST visit when you make your trip.
The museum, “is a celebration of architecture, design, music, pop culture and everything else that made Wildwood famous in its heyday of the 1950’s and 1960’s.”
If you walk inside you will see old signs from motels past, vintage appliances, furniture and more.
Be sure to check them out next time your down!
