With the beginning of the season finally here, it is now time to see all the great events that the Wildwoods hold every year. One of those events is the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market. Located at on the corner of Pacific and Schellenger Avenues in Downtown Wildwood, the Wildwood Farmers Market is a go-to event you cannot miss.
On May 23rd, the Wildwood Farmers Market had its first open day of the season and it was packed with people. A few thousand came to purchase everything from great fresh New Jersey grown produce or to enjoy the great entertainment that is provided.
This event is the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market. This year marks year number two for the Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market and they have more vendors then ever. Here’s a list of just some of the vendors;
Fruitwood Farms, Visalli Farms, Hummytown Farms, JM Ferrucci, Blue Eden Soap, Peace Pie Ice Cream Sandwiches, Steve’s Pound Cakes, Farmstead Foods, Pickledelphia, Duffinetti’s, Nuts World Wide, Calic Winery, Gourmet Creations, Gaiss Market and Busy Bees.
Besides the vendors they have live entertainment. Bill Caterini and Alicia Cacci Carpioni played on stage from 9:00am until 11:00am and they sounded great! The markter also had; Gerry the Ballon Artist, Mike the stilt walker, and 98.7 the coast was there interviewing the vendors during a live broadcast!
The Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market is now open every Saturday through Labor Day Weekend. The hours run from 8:00am until 12:00pm.
