Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood to Close After 17 Years

In a surprising announcement that has saddened many locals and visitors alike, Goodnight Irene’s Brew Pub in Wildwood, NJ, revealed that they will be closing their doors for good after 17 incredible years.

The announcement was made via a heartfelt Facebook post that read, “AND THAT’S A WRAP FOLKS! After 17 incredible years, this weekend will sadly be our last… We appreciate you all more than you know. Tonight through Sunday night will be the last time for goodbyes, so we hope to see as many of you as possible.”

The bar, located at 2708 Pacific Avenue, has been a staple in Wildwood’s bustling bar and dining scene since its opening in 2007. Known for its laid-back vibe, extensive craft beer selection, and cozy outdoor deck, Goodnight Irene’s became a beloved gathering spot for both locals and tourists seeking great food, cold drinks, and memorable nights out.

It wasn’t just a place to grab a drink; it was a community hub where friends gathered, live music played, and countless memories were made.

The reason behind the closure has not been officially disclosed, but it’s clear that Goodnight Irene’s will be deeply missed by the Wildwood community.

There is a rumor that a bar up in Manayunk’s may have purchased this but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

For those who want to raise one last glass, the bar will remain open through this weekend, giving patrons a final chance to say goodbye.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a night out at Goodnight Irene’s, now is the time to visit before Wildwood loses yet another piece of its vibrant nightlife.
