Hank Azaria of The Simpsons Is Coming to Sing in Wildwood This Summer
Actor Hank Azaria, best known for voicing characters such as Moe Szyslak, Chief Wiggum, Comic Book Guy, and dozens of others on The Simpsons, will perform at Barefoot Country Music Fest on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
However, Azaria won’t be taking the stage as one of his famous animated characters. Instead, he’ll be fronting Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band, a Bruce Springsteen tribute act that has been gaining national attention over the past year.
According to Azaria, the project began as a personal celebration for his 60th birthday. A lifelong Springsteen fan, he assembled a band and surprised friends and family with a full Bruce Springsteen tribute performance. What started as a one-night event quickly turned into something much bigger.
“It was one of the happiest nights of my life,” Azaria recently told The New York Times. “Which is why I didn’t want to stop.”
Since then, the tribute show has drawn coverage from major outlets including The New York Times, USA Today, Rolling Stone, Relix, and Guitar World. The performance combines Springsteen classics with stories about Azaria’s own life, all delivered through his carefully crafted interpretation of The Boss.
Azaria says the show isn’t intended as an impersonation but rather a celebration of the music that helped shape his life.
Returning to the beaches of Wildwood from June 18 through June 21, Barefoot Country Music Fest 2026 will once again transform the shoreline into one of the largest outdoor music venues on the East Coast. The four-day event is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors to the Wildwoods, providing a major boost to local hotels, restaurants, bars, and businesses at the start of the summer season.
This year’s lineup features a mix of country superstars, crossover acts, and rising artists. Headliners include Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Post Malone, and Jelly Roll, while additional performers include The Fray, Dasha, Warren Zeiders, Tyler Hubbard, Chase Rice, Koe Wetzel, Tucker Wetmore, Treaty Oak Revival, and dozens of other artists scheduled across multiple stages.
Tickets and additional information about Barefoot Country Music Fest 2026 are available through the festival’s official website, but im not sure many tickets are left.
