A few days ago it was announced that the Wildwood Catholic Academy, which consist of Wildwood Catholic and Cape Trinity Catholic School, would be closing for good.

The school community is banding together to save the school. Below is a press release they put out.
We are in desperate need of your support. The Camden diocese has slatted us to close along with Cape Trinity Catholic Elementary School this June. They are referencing the covid-19 outbreak and declining enrollment. They are making an assumption that parents will not be able to afford to send their children to the school based on our current situation with unemployment due to the virus and the poor economy that it has created. This is a grossly unjustified assumption and we need to raise funds to help us through this crisis.

Preparing your children for a successful future is at the heart and soul of every parent. For over 70 years, WCHS has been providing “Academic Excellence in the Catholic Tradition.”
95 percent of WCHS grads go onto college with the remainder going into the work force. Our students go onto to making positive impressions and contributions in our society. We are very proud of their many accomplishments over the years. They enter the adult world with a solid foundation of academics, but also empowered with their bodies, hearts and souls.
