The minutes for the September 9th Planning/Zoning Board meeting have been posted and there is some new information on the Popeyes coming to the Wildwoods.
For those who don’t know, we announced back in August that the old Texaco gas station at 4800 Park Blvd was getting knocked down for a new fast food restaurant. You can read about that by clicking the link below.
We later found out that the fast food restaurant would be a Popeyes. According to the minutes, the new Popeyes will have 44 seats, with a drive-through and will sit at two stories.
It will have 3 driveways, both entrance & exit on Taylor Ave., an exit only on Park Blvd. & Rio Grande Ave. For those driving there will be 11 parking spaces. Their hours of operation will be around 10am to 2am. They haven’t posted when construction will take place.
