Laura To Bring Storms Into Our Area Today (Update)

Laura To Bring Storms Into Our Area Today (Update)

The left overs of Hurricane Laura is expected to bring some decent sized storms to our area today.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, we are expecting scattered thunderstorms, some of which would be severe. (Short live/isolated intense storms possible)

The primary hazard is damaging winds and a potential for local flash flooding. Some areas will receive up to 2 inches of rain.

The main time frame of these storms are from late-morning until early this evening.

One thing to keep in mind. With this storm some areas of the state will get a ton of rain and others not as much. With this being the left over of a hurricane and the rotation of the storm completely gone you are left with pockets of serve storms.

Tune back later for more info.
