The East coast famous shark, Mary Lee, is back off the coast of New Jersey again. She has been tracked to a location several miles off of Ocean City, N.J. She normally frequents the East coast at this time of year and we know this because OCEARCH.
OCEARCH, according to their website, is “a recognized world leader in generating critical scientific data related to tracking (telemetry) and biological studies of keystone marine species such as great white sharks, in conjunction with conservation outreach and education at a measurable global scale.”

OCEARCH provides us with cool research on Mary Lee. We are able to see that Mary Lee is 16 feet long and weighs 3,456. In the past 24 hours, Mary Lee, swam 19.042 miles. That’s a lot os swimming!!
