New Bakery Is Coming To Wildwood Crest!
Today we have the great pleasure of welcoming a new business, Barry’s Buns, to Wildwood Crest.
Located at 6107 New Jersey Ave, Barry’s Buns will be taking over the Homestyle to go building.
Besides their famous sticky buns, they will be dishing out cinnamon rolls, tea cookies, crumb cake, bread pudding, liege waffles, brownies, and more!
Here is some cool information about Barry’s Buns.
Barry’s Buns is a family-owned business operated by Joel (aka Barry) and his wife, Jen. Joel started his own cheesecake business when he was 14 years old which lead him to win a scholarship to attend Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.
Joel’s career lead him to be the Assistant Pastry Chef at The Rittenhouse Hotel but deep down inside he wanted to start his own bakery.
With an obsession with sticky buns as a kid, Joel perfected his recipe and started making them in The Market at the Fareway (Chestnut Hill)
Joel now runs two locations, one in The Market at the Fareway (Chestnut Hill) and a new one in The Bourse Marketplace (Old City).
His location in Wildwood Crest will be his first stand-alone bakery!!! Their grand opening will be on May 7th.
