New Donut Place on the Boardwalk – It’s Not a Donut
New Donut Place on the Boardwalk – It’s Not a Donut
This past weekend we saw many places opening up on the World famous Wildwood Boardwalk for the 2022 season.
Since the weather was so beautiful over the weekend we biked the entire length of the boardwalk and discovered some new places.
One of the new places that just-so-happened to have their soft opening on Saturday was “It’s Not a Donut.”
New Donut Place on the Boardwalk – It’s Not a Donut
Located at 3012 Boardwalk, Glenwood Ave, and the boardwalk, this place is a must-stop when you’re down here this summer. Just to clarify, it’s located next to Johnny Scoops which used to be the home to Great American Lobster Roll. No word on if they moved anywhere else on the Wildwood Boardwalk.
While they were only offering a limited selection menu, the food was fantastic.
They featured donuts on steroids.
The style of their donuts are Neapolitan graffa. As it says online, “Neapolitan graffa is one of the pillars of Neapolitan street food and one of the most appreciated desserts of Neapolitan cuisine. They were prepared mainly for the Carnival period, but today you can always taste them at every corner of the city.”
Some items on the menu included cream donuts stuffed with custard and topped with strawberries and raise berries all the way to a cinnamon peanut butter stuffed donate with nuts on top.
Just as the name of the establishment says, these are not a donut, they are something extraordinary.
Their grand opening will take place over Memorial Day Weekend.
You can follow them on Facebook by Clicking HERE.
We wish them the best of luck and can’t wait to see what their full menu will be this summer!
