Have you heard the good news yet? Over 925,000 New Jerseyans have been full-vaccinated. This is great news as this helps us to get to herd immunity.

NJ Indoor Capacity To Increase to 50%

Since covid-19 cases and deaths in the state of New Jersey have been dropping New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, has decided to reduce some restrictions.

Starting on March 19th, many businesses can increase their indoor capacity to 50%.

These businesses include, restaurants, recreational and amusement, gyms, barber shops, salons and other personal care businesses.

Currently the state rule calls for 35% to this is a nice jump up, which will just in time for Easter!

Another change is that the limit on private gatherings will be increasing from 25 people indoors and 50 outdoors.

Gov. Murphy does add that “However, our mask mandate and COVID-19 health and safety protocols remain in effect. I am hopeful that we’ll be able to take further steps in expanding capacity responsibly and incrementally guided by public health data.”

So be sure to keep wearing your masks!

If we keep seeing this sharp drop in covid-19 cases and death, we could see a 100% capacity by Memorial Day Weekend!
