Today during his press conference, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, announced the next steps of opening up New Jersey. In his speech he announced that stage two will start on Monday June 15th. Let’s break down the dates for each activity in this stage. Monday June 15th Outdoor dining Limited in-person retail Monday June 22nd Limited personal care, IE, barbers shops, hair salons No date as of yet Limited fitness/gyms Youth summer programs Some in-person clinical research/labs Some in-person government services What does this mean for the Wildwoods? That means that stores on the boardwalk can open to a limited amount of people at a time and restaurants can start serving guests safely outdoors. We can get haircuts starting on Monday June 22nd with appointments only. We can assume that here in the Wildwoods we will see tables back outside on June 15th. Tune back in for more information.
