Halloween in the Wildwoods will be full of tricks, treats and fun events for all ages startingSaturday, October 13with the Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run and continuingFriday, October 26 through Sunday, October 28with Halloween weekend festivities.

Halloween in the Wildwoods kicks offSaturday, October 13, with the Wildwoods Boardwalk 5K Pumpkin Run. This fun and exciting family event is for all ages and offers a 5K run along with a one-mile walk, starting at10 a.m.at the Wildwoods Convention Center – rain or shine. Registration begins at8:30 a.m.inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes and vie for prizes in the best dressed categories of Family, Youth, Infant and Best All-Around. All proceeds benefit Wildwoods’ Elementary Schools located on the island. Registration is $25 for adults and $15 for participants 18 years and under. OnFriday, October 26, is the 2ndannual Downtown Wildwood Halloween Movie & Treats event! Enjoy a Halloween movie and treats under the stars beginning at6 p.m.at the Byrne Plaza in Wildwood on Pacific Avenue, between Oak & Cedar. Admission and parking are FREE! OnSaturday, October 27, it’s the North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat event from5:30-7 p.m.on Olde New Jersey Avenue between 2ndand Walnut Avenues in North Wildwood. Parents are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars.There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated car. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood. Parking for visitors will be available in the municipal lot at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues. Also onSaturday, October 27, the Greater Wildwood Elks will host a Halloween Haunted House where trick-or-treaters can walk through a “haunted house” and receive treats at the Elks Lodge located at109 West 1st Avenue, in North Wildwood from5-8 p.m.Admission to the haunted house is FREE.
