In a heartfelt message shared on social media this morning, Scannell expressed her deep gratitude for the community’s support over the years.

“After over 23 wonderful years in Ocean City on Asbury Avenue, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the permanent closing of Pappagallo,” Scannell wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve shown us throughout the years. As I look forward to pursuing new opportunities, I want to thank each of you for being part of our journey.”

To show her appreciation, Pappagallo is offering a 50% off storewide sale as a farewell gesture to loyal customers, encouraging them to stop by one last time and find something special.
