Ocean City is saying goodbye to one of its cherished businesses, as Pappagallo, located at 744 Asbury Avenue, has announced its permanent closure after 23 wonderful years.
Owned by April Scannell, the boutique has been a staple of Ocean City’s shopping scene, offering a unique selection of clothing, accessories, and gifts that captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media this morning, Scannell expressed her deep gratitude for the community’s support over the years.
“After over 23 wonderful years in Ocean City on Asbury Avenue, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the permanent closing of Pappagallo,” Scannell wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve shown us throughout the years. As I look forward to pursuing new opportunities, I want to thank each of you for being part of our journey.”
