It’s been over a month since our last update of the Rio Grande Entrance Project.
The Rio Grande Gateway Project is a multi-million dollar project that will rehab Rio Grande Avenue by raising the road by 30 inches to help curb flooding. A new pumping system is also included with the project.

Since that update much progress has been made. Currently half of the project is done with the Eastern lane open to West bound drivers. Yes this means that they are driving on the opposite side of the road. If you plan on entering the Wildwoods you would still enter via the George Redding bridge but would need to hang a right at Beach Creek.
