Rommadill Pickling Co. Opens Location in Wildwood

Pickle lovers in South Jersey have a new must-visit spot. Rommadill Pickling Co., an artisanal pickle brand out of Philadelphia, officially opened its first New Jersey location in downtown Wildwood on April 19, 2025 at 3109 Pacific Ave.

This used to be home to Ultra Neon who has now moved down the block to 3201 Pacific Ave. (and you need to check out some of their awesome neon signs for sale)

Known for its creative, small-batch flavors and commitment to quality, Rommadill is bringing a bold new flavor to the Wildwoods’ vibrant food scene.

The new storefront features all of Rommadill’s fan-favorite pickles, including spicy garlic spears, sweet bread-and-butter chips, dill-infused picklebacks, and the wildly popular Old Bay pickles.

In addition to their signature selections, visitors can find a range of pickled vegetables, relishes, and house-made condiments crafted in the company’s signature style.

But this isn’t your average pickle shop. Rommadill’s Wildwood location is going all-in with over-the-top creations that are as inventive as they are mouthwatering.

One highlight is their take on pickle chips—thin slices of sweet & hot pickles loaded with a wild combo of toppings like Maple Syrup Doritos, Nacho Cheese Cool Ranch Doritos, and Hot Fritos. It’s a “choose your crunch” experience like no other.

For those with an adventurous palate, their limited-time holiday item, “The Lover Boy,” raised eyebrows and curiosity this past Easter.

It features a pickle split down the middle and stuffed with peanut butter, Nutella, and pretzel bits—a sweet and salty twist that’s gaining a cult following.

Another standout from the menu is the “Gilligan’s Island,” a bold fusion of tuna, jalapeños, lite mayo, and sweet chili sauce—all packed inside a split pickle. Yes, it’s as wild as it sounds and really does sound good!

While the soft opening took place during Easter weekend, the team is gearing up for a busy and flavorful summer season in the heart of the Wildwoods.
