Every August North Wildwood Beach Patrol holds the Bud Tarbotton Around The Island Row. This year, which was the 43rd running, had 19 crew competing in the row.
For those who don’t know what the Bud Tarbotton Around The Island Row is, it is a 20 mile counter-clockwise row around the Wildwoods (Entire island) that ends at the 15th Ave beach in North Wildwood.
Last year the winners, Steve McGuinn and Brandon Joyce from the Wildwood Beach Patrol,won in a time of 2 hours, 37 minutes. They will be racing again with 2014,2015 and 2016 winners Terry McGovern and Darrick Kobiewowski.
This year Terry McGovern and Darrick Kobiewowski won for their forth win!
