Seaport Pier To Add Beach Bar
Seaport Pier may be looking to add a new edition to its beachfront family-friendly bar & grill.
Since opening in July of 2018, Seaport Pier, which is located at 22nd and the boardwalk in North Wildwood, has become a hot spot for some good drinks and entertainment right on the beach.
Over the years there have been many changes to the pier which included a massive stage, new bar areas, and outdoor games.
There will be an even bigger change coming very soon.
The owners of Seaport Pier, BG Capital, have applied to the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control to change their footprint.
At this moment their footprint to service alcoholic drinks is only on the elevated pier. According to the application they look to expand the licensed premises to include a 5,669 SF area on a portion of Block 317.03, Lot 1 to the south of the existing licensed premises.
This area would be East of the current sand dune.
The application continues to say that if approved they would like to add a beach bar in that spot.
There isn’t much information about the beach bar at this time.
Seaport Pier’s parent company BG Capital, has been making big moves in the Wildwoods.
This past week they announced that they purchased the Isle of Capri motel and will rebrand it as The Seaport Inn. Click the link below for more info on that)

On top of this, they are also building the 38 dwelling on Magnolia avenue (the old Trinity School lot), building the Residences on Pacific Ave (where the Fairview was), they are purchasing the lot where Shamrock Beef & Ale was located, they purchased the lot where the VFW and restaurant next door is, and they purchased the old Wildwood Crest hardware store.
We wish BG Capital the best of luck and can’t wait to see what kind of beach bar they build!
