Should The Boardwalk Biking Hours Be Extended?
There was an interesting article on “Cape May Herald” that talked about an incident that took place on August 28th during a Wildwood City Commissioners’ meeting.
According to the Herald, a group of local bicycle shop owners spoke to Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano and asked that the biking hours on the Wildwood Boardwalk be changed.
As of right now the time that bikes are allowed on the Wildwood Boardwalk is from 5am to 12-noon. They are asking for the house to be changed to 5am to 1pm citing that many tourists do not start renting bikes until 10am compared to older generations who would start renting bikes at first light.
