Simpsons Moe’s Tavern No More on the Wildwood Boardwalk?
There has been a strange turn of events for a new shop up on the boardwalk.
This past June we announced that a Simpsons pop-up, Moe’s Tavern, was opening up on the boardwalk.

This pre-paid event took you inside the fictional bar, “Moe’s Tavern.” Retitled as Moe’s Boardwalk, to fit the boardwalk theme, inside you were able to order the Flaming Moe beverage (nonalcoholic), and pick up a Flaming Moe patch and a Moe’s Tavern Flaming Moe baseball cap.
Folks who purchased tickets for this event got a confusing email saying that the event was canceled.
The email is as follows;
“The town of North Wildwood is no longer allowing us to operate a pop-up in our space on 21st and boardwalk.
We are unbelievably sad that we can not provide this experience to you here in North Wildwood.
Currently, we are searching for another location to operate Moe’s in and to bring this experience, that we have opened in other cities and states, to you here at the shore.
All we want is to bring this experience to you. We hope to have news shortly of a new location.
We offer refunds for those who wish to get a refund. If you would like to exchange your tickets for merchandise and peek into Moe’s, we can also do that.
We are very sorry to have to cancel this event. We wanted more than anything to bring this event to you.

We reached out for a comment via email and haven’t heard back. It looks like the merchandise section is open but the inside, Moe’s Tavern, is closed.
