The Sophisticated Productions National Dance Finals are coming to Wildwood. They will take place for six (6) days from Sunday July 19th and will run through Friday July 24th. This year marks the 21st anniversary of the Sophisticated Productions National Dance Finals in Wildwood New Jersey.
The Sophisticated Productions National Dance Finals will be taking place at the Wildwood Convention Center located at 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ 08260. (That’s at Berks and the boardwalk) The competitions begin at eight (8)am every day and admission for spectators are free. That’s right, free!
The Sophisticated Productions National Dance Finals will feature solos, duets, trios, small groups, large groups, lines and performances from amateur to experienced dancers. The dancers come from all other the country to complete in these finals.
There are different categories that dancers can compete it. Those categories are as follow: Musical Theater, Character, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Open, Acro, Ballet, Pointe, Song/Dance, Modern, Pom Pom, Contemporary and Clogging.
All the performances are choreographed to music. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category. The prizes consist of trophies and over thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) in cash.
