Hey Folks! I wanted to give you a PSA (Public Service Announcement) about Cape May’s Lobster House.
Currently the Lobster House is temporarily closed for renovations. The Fish Market and Take Out / Coffee Shop is open daily.
There is no exact date on when they will reopen but please tune into their Facebook page for more information.
We just wanted to post this after we tried to go to dinner there and didn’t know.
This isn’t the first time they closed in the off-season. Normally they are open year-round.
A few years ago they closed end of January into February for a big winter storm and a few years before that they closed to install new pilings under the entire main dining room. The biggest of closings they ever had was back in 2006 when they closed for over 6 months due to a fire.
We are happy that they are renovating and are excited to see what the place looks like when it reopens!
