The Rock Shares Wildwood Throwback Photo
It is always cool when a celebrity can show how the Wildwoods were a part of their lives.
Today our friends over the Herald saw that “The Rock,” aka Dwayne Johnson, had shared a photo of a visit to the Wildwoods in the 1980s.
The photo depicts Dwayne Johnson, as a young boy, outside the old Wildwood convention center with his Dad.
The Rock added the caption: “Back when my dad (along w @tonyatlas) became @WWE‘s first Black Tag Team Champions. I adored my old man here at 11yrs old and clearly couldn’t wait to start hitting the gym. After I fixed my horribly bucked teeth.”
For those who didn’t know, Dwayne’s father, Rocky Johnson was also a professional wrestler. They where in Wildwood on a promotion tour and was signing autographs after the show.
Of course this photo was really taken to take a photo of Rocky it is still cool that Dwayne is in it.
