The Wildwoods Election Results

Yesterday through-out the country it was election day. On this day there were many different positions being voted for in the Wildwoods.

Right now we will announce those results. The official results have been released by the Cape May Herald.

Municipal Races

North Wildwood Council-at-large

North Wildwood Council 1st Ward 

• Margaret Bishop

North Wildwood Council 2nd Ward

West Wildwood Commissioner

Wildwood Commissioner

NOTE: Wildwood is a City Commission Government. The way it works is that voters elect a small commission, typically of three to five members who constitute the legislative body as a group. One commissioner gets designated to function as mayor.

In January commissioners will meet to decide to present one of them to become mayor. It’s our understanding that it will be Pete Byron.
