NJ State Fireman’s Convention, Fire Expo & Parade

Kicking off the weekend is the 49th Annual New Jersey State Fireman’s Convention, Fire Expo, and Parade from September 12-14, 2024.

Held at the Wildwoods Convention Center, this convention features important meetings, seminars, and voting for fire departments from across the state.

You can admire firetrucks on display in the Convention Center parking lots and explore a variety of merchandise vendors across the street at Fox Park.

Boots at the Beach

Ready for some country tunes? Head to North Wildwood’s Seaport Pier for the Boots at the Beach festival on September 13-14, 2024.

Enjoy live music performances from bands like Y’all or Nothin’, 40 North, Jimmy Kenny & The Pirate Beach Band, and Triple Rail Turn.

Line dancing lessons with DJ Ashley Rosé, food, drinks, and Western-themed vendors make this event a must-see. Admission is $10 for a one-day pass or $15 for both days, with tickets available at the entrance.

Morey’s Piers Oktoberfest

Celebrate Oktoberfest at Morey’s Piers from September 13 through October 13, 2024.

Starting this Friday, September 13 at 6:10 p.m., join the Morey family for the ceremonial keg tapping to kick off the event!

Don your lederhosen and raise your steins while enjoying live music, German food, and all your favorite Morey’s rides.

Wildwood Crest Firefighters’ Weekend Craft Show

For a more laid-back experience, check out the Wildwood Crest Firefighters’ Weekend Craft Show.

This free event takes place along Sunrise Park at Rambler Road and Ocean Avenue in Wildwood Crest on Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Fish For Life

Fish for Life, a wonderful program for special needs children, is coming to the East Coast! On Saturday, September 14, thirty children, along with their chaperones and volunteers, will board the “Atlantic Star” sportfishing vessel for a day of fishing and fun.

Muddy Schnitzel Family Fun Run

Get ready to get messy at Morey’s Piers first-ever Muddy Schnitzel Family Fun Run! Taking place on Saturday, September 14, this exciting 1-mile mud run on the beach between Mariner’s and Adventure Piers features over a dozen obstacles, including water pits, an army crawl, and more.

9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Finally, start your Saturday morning by honoring the heroes of 9/11 with the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., participants will climb 110 stories to commemorate the sacrifices made by first responders on September 11, 2001.

Presented by Mudhen Brewing Company and FMBA Local 50, this event invites everyone to walk in remembrance of the fallen. Walk-ins are welcome, and registration is available online. For more information, email fmba50609@yahoo.com.
