Trying Scrapple Tacos – Anglesea Pub

A few weeks ago it was announced via Facebook that the Anglesea Pub was adding Scrapple Tacos to their brunch menu.

We wrote a quick little article about the Scrapple Tacos and over 10,000 people read it and many wrote it asking us to make a video about it.

Today we give you that video. Here’s a little background information.

The Anglesea Pub is located at 116 W 1st Ave in North Wildwood and is one of the oldest restaurants/bars. It originally opened its doors in 1885 as the Germantown Hotel. Once the Bishop family took over in 1917 it was changed to the Anglesea Pub.

For the next summer Sundays, the Anglesea Pub will be offering these Scrapple Tacos on their brunch menu for $14. This special runs from 11am to 1:00pm. We suggest you go early as they fill up quickly.

The Scrapple Tacos came in a trio and include scrambled eggs, avocado, chipotle aioli and a long strip of Scrapple. As a side dish they also give you potatoes.

There was so much food that I wasn’t able to finish them. The waitress told us that many people grab it as an appetizer to split around the table. (which explains why I couldn’t finish it).
