While Halloween is only a few short days away, our eyes are on the jolliest Holiday of the year, Christmas!
It has become a yearly attraction and weekend-long event to visit the Wildwoods for the annual Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade and festival.
On Facebook yesterday the city announced its 2021 schedule. Let’s break it down.
The Holiday celebration starts on Friday, December 3rd with the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade. (The rain date for the festivities will be on Sunday, December 5th)
Parade registration/check-in begins at 5 p.m. at the North Wildwood Recreation Center, 10th and Central Avenues, North Wildwood.
The parade will line up along Central Avenue and steps off 16th Ave at 6:30 p.m.
It will make its way down Central Ave., turn on to Pacific Ave., and then on to Spicer Ave. The parade will finish by heading back up in Byrne Plaza via New Jersey Ave.
Awards will be announced for floats and decorated business lighting contest at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded to the following categories: Commercial, Community Service, Marching Bands and Public Service, Individual/Small Group.
Carnival rides and vendors will also be there for your enjoyment!
On Saturday, December 4th the festivities continue all day with Carnival rides, vendors, Holiday activities, and entertainment.
There will also be a Holiday Bazaar at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, December 11th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. This event includes a shopping Bazaar, Children’s Craft Making Table, Stocking Making Table, Holiday Movies, entertainment, and more.
At 4:30 pm, join the Wildwoods Convention Center as they light their own Christmas Tree. (Santa will also be making a stop at 11:30 am.
