Wildwood Crest Seafarers Celebration 2025: Fireworks & Fun
One of the most anticipated end-of-summer traditions in Cape May County is set to return this September as Wildwood Crest hosts its annual Seafarers Celebration.
The all-day festival, filled with family entertainment, live music, and a dazzling fireworks display, will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Best of all, admission is completely free.

A Daytime Festival at Sunset Lake
The celebration kicks off at 9 a.m. with a massive street festival along the scenic banks of Sunset Lake, stretching from Rambler Road to Miami Avenue on New Jersey Avenue.
Festival-goers will be greeted with rows of craft vendors, showcasing everything from handmade jewelry to nautical décor.
Local food vendors will also be serving up plenty of boardwalk favorites and seaside treats, ensuring no one leaves hungry.

Entertainment is the heart of the festival, with an exciting mix of live music, performances, and family-friendly attractions. The live music lineup at Sunset Lake features:
- 10:30 a.m. – Star Band (Motown, oldies, pop)
- 12:30 p.m. – Loose Ends (rock/pop hits)
- 2:30 p.m. – Animal House (dance and party hits)
Beyond the music, kids will find no shortage of fun. The daytime schedule includes magic shows, interactive games, bounce houses, a children’s pie-eating contest, face painting, roving performers, and even a live turtle exhibition.

Evening Fun at Centennial Park
When the sun begins to set, the action shifts to Centennial Park, located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue. Starting at 7 p.m., the Roundhouse Band will take the stage, delivering a high-energy performance packed with Motown, rock, pop, and dance hits.
With their full horn section and party atmosphere, they’re guaranteed to get the crowd moving.
Fireworks Over the Beach
No Seafarers Celebration would be complete without its grand finale: a spectacular fireworks display. At 8:30 p.m., the skies over the beach at Fern Road will light up in a burst of color, capping off the celebration in unforgettable fashion.
The fireworks are best viewed from Centennial Park, where attendees can enjoy the music and then watch the night sky come alive.
