Wildwood Crest’s Plan For Downtown
Yesterday the City of Wildwood Crest held a public meeting about the improvement of the downtown business district.
A few weeks back Cape May County announced that they were in the planning phase for a complete reconstruction of New Jersey Avenue from Heather Road to Wisteria Road. This makes up five blocks of New Jersey Avenue.
Last night’s meeting discussed the city’s plans to improve the visual and functional character of New Jersey Avenue. The plans by the Taylor Design Group, were on full display.
They showed textured decorative crosswalks, planted Traffic-calming islands, street lamps and greenery.
