Wildwood’s First Beach Concert Announced
It’s official!!! Songbird Entertainment is bringing the the 1980s to our beaches!! “Rockin’ in the 80s,” will be a classic rock music show on the Wildwood beach (Boardwalk and Garfield Avenue) on Saturday August 19th. The gates will open at 11AM with and the show will start at 5PM.
The show will include performances by;
- War ( War are an American funk band from Long Beach, California, known for the hit songs “Spill the Wine”, “The World Is a Ghetto”, “The Cisco Kid”, “Why Can’t We Be Friends?”, “Low Rider”, and “Summer.” )
- Asia ( Asia are an English progressive rock band formed in London, known for the hits, “Heat Of The Moment,” “Don’t Cry” and “Only Time Will Tell.” )
- Steve Augeri ( Journey former lead vocalist from 1998-2006)
- Many local Bands
