New this year for the Wildwoods is the addition of Yoga on the Wildwood beach!
If you want to enjoy yoga with a trained professional then look no further. Yoga classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from June 21st until September 6th. The classes will take place on the Wildwood beach behind the Wildwoods Convention Center at Burk Avenue. In case you need to type an address into your GPA, the address for the Wildwoods Convention Center is 4501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
For the Yoga on the beach all you need to bring is a beach towel or a Yoga mat. Each class is five dollars ($5) per class and start at nine (9)pm. There are no maximum amount of people so bring as many people as you wish. All age groups are allowed but please understand that Yoga is for medication. If you feel that a child may be distracting the other guests there then maybe consider not to join them for Yoga that day.
Yoga on the beach even has a reward program for those who plan to come many times through-out the summer. When you purchase five (5) classes you get the sixth (6th) class free. They give you a class card so they can keep track.
Charl, who is the Yoga instructor, is very knowledgeable about Yoga and has been teaching a while. She will help and make corrections if you are doing a certain pose wrong or if you are like me, not very flexible.
