How North Wildwood Rebuilt Their Beaches

How North Wildwood Rebuilt Their Beaches

We’ve have gotten so many questions on how North Wildwood is going to rebuild their beaches after a winter that eroded most of the sand away.

For those who don’t know, almost yearly the city of North Wildwood needs to replenish their beaches due to heavy erosion. Due to the city not being able to dredge the Hereford Inlet they had to get recreative on where they would get their sand.

Recently they have been taking sand from Wildwood’s beaches and hauling it over to the North Wildwood beaches. It’s a very long process that started back in January.

We decided to film the process and share it with you.
