The beach erosion in North Wildwood has really gotten out of control.
Over the past few weeks our beaches have been getting slammed with strong winds and large swells. These storms start to erode our beaches and cut into our sand dunes. These sand dunes are constructed to protect our properties from the waves and flooding.
Walking the beach in North Wildwood I stumbled upon some of the worst our sand dunes have looked. The erosion cut our sand dunes in half making a drop off almost 15 feet high. I decided to film a video to show you what it looks like.
