Opening This Weekend In the Wildwoods – April 15-17
Last weekend we saw the opening of many businesses down here including Curley’s Fries, Bobby Dee’s Arcade, Two Mile Landing, and more.
According to weather.com, this weekend will be a bit breezy but will give us temperatures in the high 50s on Friday and Saturday and mid-50s on Sunday. Our advice is to have your sweater ready to go.
Event-wise we have three different Egg Hunts on the island. These all take place on Saturday, April 16th.
Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt – It will take place at 12 pm at 19th avenue North Wildwood. Children 11 and under can hunt for eggs and gather candy and prizes.
Greater Wildwood Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt – It will take place at 12 pm on the beach at Lincoln Avenue, Wildwood. It’s free for children ages 1-12. Kids will dig for eggs buried in the sand. Each egg contains a toy. If you find the golden egg, it’s worth a bigger prize.
The Step Back Foundation will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt – It will take place from 9am-12pm at the Albert I. Allen Memorial Park (2200 Delaware Avenue) in North Wildwood.
We have compiled a list of businesses that will be opening for the season starting this weekend.
