Cape May Fire Fighters Put Out Kitchen Fire
A big clap for the Cape May, West Cape May and USCG Fire Departments that put out a commercial fire on Sunset Boulevard.
Roughly 6PM last night Engine 51 and Tower 51 responded to a call at 109 Sunset Boulevard in Cape May. This is the shopping center that has Viggiano’s Cape May Liven outlet, Accent On Beauty and Exit Zero.
West Cape May Volunteer Fire Company was the first on the scene.When crews arrived on the scene they found that the fire had been started in the kitchen of Viggiano’s.
It’s with the quick work of all our amazing fire fighters that this fire was contained quickly. The report states that the fire was caused by an appliance. No word on which one
Engine 51 remained on scene for 30 minutes assisting West Cape May Volunteer Fire Company with overhaul.
