A few weeks ago it was announced that Wildwood Saint Ann’s School (Cape Trinity School), located at 2901 New Jersey Ave, is going to be demolished to make way for condos.
Along with the demolition of Saint Ann’s School the Notre Dame de la Mer Convent is also on the chopping block.
We learned today that an estate sale company is coming out to the property to do a pre-Demolition sale of everything in the two properties.
According to the sale notes, the school Pre Demo sale will take place on November 6th, 7th and 8th from 9am to 3pm.
The Notre Dame de la Mer Convent Pre Demo sale will take place on November 13th, 14th and 15th from 9am to 3pm.
[A Note From The Editor]
The Notre Dame de la Mer Convent is an historic house here in the Wildwoods. Built in 1909, this stick-style Catholic parsonage is one of the last remaining ones in Wildwood. We would like to see this building saved.
I believe that the new owners, who plan to build the same style condos as the Thunderbird ones, could still turn a profit by selling this house for someone to live in (and keep it as is).
