East Coast Music Hall of Fame Coming to Wildwood

There is a new Hall of Fame making it’s way to the Wildwoods. Please welcome the East Coast Music Hall of Fame and museum.

The East Coast Music Hall Of Fame is a society of music professionals and fans from Maine to Florida dedicated to preserving and celebrating the music of the The Rock and Roll era and beyond. Giving recognition to those who have dedicated their lives to creating and preserving this music. It will also create pathways for those who continue to produce this music for future generations

The first East Coast Music Hall Of Fame Awards Gala will take place on June 5th 2019 a the Wildwoods Convention Center. The show will present lifetime achieve awards to; Frankie Avalon, Jimmy Beaumont, Larry Chance, Lou Christie, Chubby Checker, Connie Francis, Charlie Gracie, Ronnie Italiano, Johnny Maestro, Richard Nader, Vito Picone, Eugene Pitt, Bobby Rydell, Neil Sedaka, Jay Siegel and Willie Winfield.   

The East Coast Music Hall Of Fame Museum is scheduled to open in June of 2020, The Museum will be a gem for both serious music fans of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s as well as the casual visitor.

With robust exhibits and in-depth history, the museum will expose, educate, and entertain visitors with all that is the rich musical culture of our music. It will highlight over 28 categories of  inductees each year and honor lifetime achievement recipients in all aspects of the music industry.

In the museum you can find hard to find album covers and photographs, important awards, unique art, musical instruments and costumes, tour jackets, and other special items.

The museum is being built through the generosity and support of a society of fans from Maine to Florida as well as our generous corporate sponsors, so that it would serve all four components of our mission: preserving history, celebrating excellence, supporting education, and ensuring the future of the music.

The location of the museum would be at the old VFW Post at 3816 Pacific Ave, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
