Gov Murphy Visits Damaged Wildwood Boardwalk
This morning at 11am, New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, visited the Wildwood Boardwalk to review the damaged c
aused by the storm we had last week.
Over thirty people met on the boardwalk, including Senator Testa and Wildwood Mayor Byron all wearing masks.
In a tweet posted by Murphy at 1PM he said, “Just surveyed Wildwood Boardwalk damage from last week’s Storm” “There’s a lot to Clean up, But we’ll get it done – together”
There was no word on how it will get done but we are glad that the Gov made his way to the island to see that our boardwalk needs the funding to be replaced.
Just prior to the storm damage we visited this exact section of the boardwalk and did a tour of it. We just so happened to upload that video on YouTube the morning of the storm.
To compare the boardwalk before and after the storm damage, I embedded the videos below.
