Little Egg Harbor’s Shooters Sporting Center To Close
After a successful decade of operation, Shooters Sporting Center in Little Egg Harbor Township is set to close its doors. The closure comes as a result of the property where the establishment is situated being sold to Ocean County.
The county has ambitious plans for the location, intending to transform it into a Regional Training Center for First Responders. While the specifics are still in development, there’s a possibility that the ranges may be opened to the public in the future, aligning with Ocean County’s broader vision for the property.
In a heartfelt message on their Facebook page, Shooters Sporting Center expressed gratitude to their loyal customers, employees, friends, and family for making the past 10 years an extraordinary success.
The post detailed the upcoming changes and assured patrons that, despite the closure of the current location, Shooters would continue serving the community.
The silver lining for fans of Shooters Sporting Center’s outdoor sporting goods supplies is that the retail store will not disappear entirely. Instead, it’s set to relocate to the Tip’s Hardware building at 218 Main Street, West Creek, NJ 08092.
Brielle, the current store manager at Shooters, will become the new owner of the rebranded “Shooters Hardware.” Many of the existing staff members will also join her at this new location.
The transition is expected to take place in January, with the current store remaining open until the new facility is ready to welcome customers.

Although the new space won’t feature the shooting ranges, Shooters Hardware pledges to maintain its commitment to providing top-quality inventory and exceptional customer service, ensuring that patrons can continue to rely on the brand for their outdoor sporting goods needs.
Shooters Hardware will be honoring all Shooter’s gift certificates, layaways, repairs/warranties, and firearm transactions that are pending permits.
All range members will be issued a refund based on unused time. The ranges will officially close on December 31st 2023.
