A staple food establishment in Cape May Court House is closing its doors for good.
Molino’s To Close In Cape May Court House
Molino’s Takeout, located at 219 S Main Street in Cape May Court House, New Jersey has announced today that they are closing.
The sad news came in from their Facebook page where they said;
“After many years of business, it is time for the next chapter. Molino’s Takeout will be changing hands and something new is on the way. The Molino’s family wants to thank our hardworking employees and dedicated customers for their years of support. Stay tuned for more updates.”
If you are like us here at the Wildwood Video Archive, Molino’s has been your go-to spot for many many years in Cape May Court House.
Molino’s Takeout opened its doors back in 1969, which was the same year that Morey’s Piers debuted their giant slide on Surfside Pier.
The photo on the right shows a throwback photo they uploaded a while back showcasing one of their massive hoagies.
The good news is that you still have a chance to get your last meal in before they close their doors for good. According to their Facebook page, their last day of operation will be on November 12th. (no times listed)
Coming into their place will be a new Mexican restaurant called Mexltalia. As you can tell from the name this place will be a mix between Mexican food and Italian food.
Mexltalia comes to us via Drew Buchanan who runs the very successful restaurants, Circle Pizza and Big Chancho’s Tacos, located at 2108 Dune Drive in Avalon. They will be opening their doors on November 15th (only a few days after Molino’s closes)
We want to wish the owners of Molino’s a happy retirement and best wishes to the new owners of Mexltalia.
Tune back later for more details.
