On Sunday, September 5th, Surfside Pier closed for the 2021 summer season.
This might have been the earliest date I could remember that this pier closed. In years past Surfside Pier would stay open until mid-September. There wasn’t anything posted online on why this pier closes so early.
Adventure Pier only out-lasted Surfside Pier by one day. It closed for the season on Monday, September 6th (Labor Day Monday).
