NEW Be Apart of The “Community Band By The Sea” Performance
Have you had a love of performing in a big band? Now you can join the community band and showcase your skills.
Any brass, woodwind, and percussion instrumentalists, regardless of age and ability, can participate in the community band. Instrumentalists will rehearse together prior to the performance and will be provided music one month before the event.
The Annual Community Band by the Sea Performance will take place at 4 pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Bryne Plaza (3400 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260) with a rain date of Sunday, August 1, 2021.
The community band will only rehearse prior to the performance on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm with a half hour setup prior at Bryne Plaza.
Band performance call time will be 2:30 pm on Saturday, July 31, 2021. The performance will be conducted by Dr. Joshua E. Long.
The nominal nonprofit fee of $50 for your involvement in the performance will provide delivery of music, a shirt for the event, and the participation at the venue. For the event you will need your instrument (percussionists we will have some equipment), music stand, chair, music that was delivered to you, comfortable clothes (avoid glittery, sparkly, or bright colors) plenty of water, and your smile!
